The ability to generate and qualify for carbon credits is key to sustainable funding strategies. By implementing projects reducing GHG emissions, or removing CO2 from the atmosphere, you may be eligible for carbon credits. We advise on carbon credit generation and market trading strategies to:
- Identify and investigate eligibility to apply for carbon credits, typically Australian Carbon Credit Units (‘ACCUs’), based on your climate-oriented projects
- Develop and verify carbon offset projects in accordance with the Emissions Reduction Fund framework, using specific criteria and approved methodologies to measure and verify reductions
- Assist clients in the submission of applications to the Clean Energy Regulator (‘CER’) detailing the project plan, methodology and expected emissions reduction
- Advise on how to implement and undertake projects according to approved methodology, helping to establish monitoring, data collection and project plan controls
