FTI Consulting was hired by one of the largest energy production and service companies in the United States to develop a strategic plan for enabling AI across the company’s commercial functions.
Our Impact:
- FTI Consulting identified and prioritized more than 120 digital and AI opportunities across commercial operations and in terms of potential impact and required investment.
- We delivered a next-generation digital platform with an agile technical architecture, an enterprise data layer and AI foundations to support AI products.
- Our team developed a strategic roadmap, investment budget and governance structure that enabled the client to execute the roadmap.
- The AI initiatives recommended by our team helped drive transformation momentum and provided key stakeholders with an initial vision and roadmap to achieving an AI-centric future state.
Our Role:
- FTI Consulting conducted deep-dive workshops with business, technology, data and AI leads to develop a comprehensive understanding of current-state lead-to-cash processes and the underlying tech stack.
- We produced a future-state architecture vision which included the introduction of three new centralized hubs: Data & Analytics, Integrations and AI Foundation.
- The team outlined a strategy for consolidating applications to eliminate both cross-stack and functional redundancies.
- Our experts provided recommendations for establishing a strategic transformation management office (“TMO”) at the C-suite level to drive value-based milestones across business, technology, data, AI and operating model workstreams.
