Carl Jones

Carl Jones is focused on business and digital transformations, working with clients across industries. Mr. Jones assists clients to modernize technology platforms, execute M&A, transform business models and processes and outsource business functions. He is experienced in leading cross-functional teams to execute large, complex, global transformation initiatives.

Mr. Jones advises clients across industries, including private equity portfolio companies, start-ups and multinational corporations. For more than a decade, he has focused on helping companies adopt emerging technologies to enable new value propositions and drive operational efficiencies. Mr. Jones has designed mobile apps, advised on cloud and Software as a Service (“SaaS”) transformation and led several platform modernization programs. He regularly facilitates strategy sessions with senior leaders to define value creation plans and develops detailed cost models to validate investment theses.

Mr. Jones’ experience includes transaction advisory and post-transaction business and technology transformation. He has provided commercial, technology and IT due diligence in support of several M&A transactions. Mr. Jones has also led integration planning, synergy planning and tracking and post-merger integration support in support of several transactions. In addition, he has led the program management office (“PMO”) for several digital transformation programs across industries.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Jones served as the Director of Operations for a technology start-up and worked within the Strategy and Operations practice at PwC.

• Developed AI strategy for a $15 billion energy company
• Developed AI value creation plan for a $500 million marketing technology company
• Provided program management leadership to a direct-to-consumer (“DTC”) streaming service; reduced video streaming platform costs by more than 20% while enhancing back-end systems
• Developed a cloud and SaaS transformation financial model and pricing strategy for a global technology company
