John Forsythe

John Forsythe has more than 20 years of experience consulting in the healthcare sector and other major service industries in Australia and the United States. John is a highly experienced digital health executive prioritising speed to value for clinical system implementations.

John leads the Digital Health practice at FTI Consulting, focusing on clinical system implementations, particularly electronic medical records (‘EMRs’).

Throughout his career, John has successfully implemented engagements in various roles, from program director to line management.

Relevant Experience:

• Led digital health initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, including authoring more than 25 successful business cases for public and private hospital funding
• Held senior leadership roles, including program manager, project director and change lead, across two decades of digital health delivery
• Directed EMR implementation programs across numerous hospital and health services, both metropolitan and regional
• Delivered clinical system implementations spanning referrals, mental health, imaging, laboratory, customer relationship management (‘CRM’) and patient administration systems
• Provided strategic and operational leadership through multiple large-scale digital health go-lives and transformation programs
