Ben Icke

Ben Icke has more than 15 years of experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance, investment management and valuations. Ben previously worked at a leading investment bank in Perth before commencing with FTI Consulting in 2024. In his previous role, Ben was involved in various M&A, restructurings and capital market transactions across multiple jurisdictions. Ben is also experienced in project and company valuations, primarily in the resources sector.

Ben has been involved in several large debt capital market transactions, takeovers and schemes, buy and sell-side acquisitions and divestments, and company strategic reviews.

Ben has managed, negotiated and executed several mining transactions across Australia, ranging from exploration assets to projects on Care and Maintenance and distressed sales.

Ben is an experienced financial modeler, having built many three-way financial models that have assisted mining companies with raising debt, Life-of-Mine planning and understanding key value drivers. He has also applied his valuation and transactional experience to support experts in independent expert witness cases.

Much of Ben’s career has been within the mining sector, with his previous experience also including transactions and valuations in the technology, construction and fashion industries.
