Adam Norden

Adam Norden has more than 25 years of management experience, participating in and leading several complex projects across and within government agencies and the health, aged care, Indigenous affairs, grants management, education, employment and disability sectors.

Adam leads projects across the strategy, policy, evaluation, program and governance domains, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness in private, not-for-profit and public sectors.

Adam provides capacity strengthening services to Indigenous organisations and recognises the benefits they are providing in front-line service delivery and their commitment to improving opportunities for First Nations Australians.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the development of a capacity-building framework to support community-controlled organisations entering aged care service delivery, including broad community consultation across multiple program areas
• Managed national consultations on proposed reforms to aged care legislation and star ratings, engaging stakeholders, including providers, unions, peak bodies and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives
• Supported the establishment of a new health care commissioning fund for remote communities, with a focus on regional reform and improved service delivery
• Oversaw a whole-of-government review of service investment in a remote community, assessing funding levels, gaps, duplication, integration and outcomes to inform future reform
• Conducted a comprehensive review of sector affiliate operations, governance and alignment with national funding agreements to identify opportunities for improved accountability and strategic resource planning
