About Rosie
Rosie Hawes has nearly 25 years’ experience in intelligence gathering, investigations and risk advisory on behalf of clients looking to expand commercially or respond to crises across Asia and the post-Soviet states. Ms. Hawes’ expertise is in helping clients navigate unfamiliar high-risk jurisdictions to ensure they are well-informed and prepared to respond to any challenge they may face.
As such, Ms. Hawes has managed intelligence-led assignments for her clients, ranging from due diligence and dispute support to strategic problem-solving, often in response to geopolitical and regulatory changes or an internal crisis or investigation.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Hawes spent 15 years with a global risk consultancy based in Moscow, Shanghai and Seoul. She served in multiple roles, including as the Partner in charge of the Greater China and North Asia Business Intelligence practice. During her time in China, Ms. Hawes was the Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. In her early career, she was based at the British Embassy in Moscow, working with the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency to combat cross-border crime.
