Leisa Maddoux

Leisa Maddoux has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, both as a seated executive and as an advisor to senior leadership. Ms. Maddoux’s experience and focus are on margin improvement in healthcare operations and operational strategic planning. She brings a strong background in working with academic health systems, large multihospital systems, boards of directors and physician practices to set and achieve aggressive goals based on financial performance, clinical quality and operational efficiency. Ms. Maddoux has expertise in hospital-wide operations, strategic planning for integrated delivery systems, supply chain management, technology enablement, physician relations, growth strategies and implementation of technology systems.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Maddoux was the Global and U.S. Health Transformation practice leader at Ernst & Young, LLP. She managed and provided oversight for large transformations and turnarounds in integrated and academic health systems resulting in over $250 million in improvement opportunities per facility. She led and managed large transformations globally, focused on future state operating models that prepare health systems for the realities of operations today and changing needs of the future.

Ms. Maddoux led an engagement for one of the largest health systems in the United States that resulted in more than $200 million in labor productivity improvements over 18 months. She was responsible for delivering multiple engagements in Europe and South America resulting in significant margin improvement and operating model improvements in hospital systems.

Additionally, Ms. Maddoux was responsible for the development and implementation of shared services strategies including the integration and consolidation of multiple departments within individual hospitals and integrated healthcare systems. This consolidation includes operations, supply chain and financial reporting structures.

Ms. Maddoux holds a B.S. in Finance from Texas Tech University, as well as an M.B.A. in International Finance from the University of Dallas.
