About Colleen Casey
Colleen Casey Voshell has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on a variety of e-discovery issues and projects. Ms. Voshell brings significant expertise across the spectrum of complex litigation issues, including major mass tort and product liability litigation, data mining and data breaches, internal investigations and helping clients manage and reduce their total spend.
Ms. Voshell has extensive experience with a broad array of evolving e-discovery issues, including planning, organizing and supervising document reviews. She consistently works to incorporate predictive coding and advanced analytics into review workflows, assisting law firms and corporate clients in establishing efficient, defensible processes that minimize re-review of documents.
Responsible for all aspects of large case management, Ms. Voshell establishes and maintains relationships with counsel and client personnel. She handles billing and fee collection, training of managers, senior consultants and staff, and oversees analysis and production of deliverables.
Ms. Voshell has also developed expert witnesses in numerous disciplines. She is well-versed in various mechanisms used by state and federal courts to coordinate mass litigations for pre-trial, trial and settlement purposes.
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Ms. Voshell was an associate at Dechert LLP, where she focused on mass tort and product liability litigation.
Relevant Experience:
- Led litigation involving a cholesterol lowering medication, latex gloves, asbestos, an anti-inflammatory medication and an atypical antipsychotic medication
- Oversaw a massive data mining and data breach project that started with three terabytes of unstructured data; through defensible and innovative use of artificial intelligence, a large, complex dataset containing personal information was fully reviewed and addressed within months, enabling compliant notification of more than 1 million data subjects
- Coordinated the acquisition, analysis, review and production of more than 60 terabytes of unstructured and structured data under a very tight schedule in a complex matter
