About Bryan
Bryan M. Armstrong is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting. Mr. Armstrong serves as Head of the Financial Communications practice in the Americas. For more than 25 years, he has served as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and boards of directors on a range of capital markets events and issues, including investor relations, ESG and transaction communications advisory.
Mr. Armstrong has led a number of new listings through both special purpose acquisition companies (“SPACs”) and initial public offerings (“IPOs”), including Core & Main, Satellogic, Hippo, Diginex, Amerant Bank, Newmark Group and Advanced Drainage Systems (“ADS”), and has served as an advisor on one of the largest proposed IPOs in history, among others. Additionally, Mr. Armstrong has advised on a number of M&A transactions.
As a senior member of FTI Consulting’s ESG Advisory practice, Mr. Armstrong also leads a multidisciplinary team focused on developing integrated programs that help companies manage risk and identify opportunities related to ESG from a regulatory, financial, political and commercial perspective. Mr. Armstrong has conducted materiality assessments, evaluated ESG reporting frameworks, executed rating agency engagement programs, advised on target-setting and ESG controversies and has developed, designed and launched numerous sustainability reports on behalf of clients.
Mr. Armstrong joined FTI Consulting as part of the acquisition of Ashton Partners in October 2007, where he served as one of three partners. At the time of the sale, Ashton Partners was one of the largest independent investor relations advisory firms in the United States.
Mr. Armstrong received his B.B.A. in finance with a concentration in international business from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. In addition, Mr. Armstrong holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (“SASB”) Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (“FSA”) credential holder.
