Andrew Johnston

Andrew Johnston is a longtime expert consultant in complex litigation and investigations with more than 20 years of experience. Mr. Johnston brings significant expertise in data analytics across various document review platforms to decrease litigation and investigations costs by improving the speed, accuracy and defensibility of the discovery process. He is also experienced in information governance and security, and assists clients with identifying, developing, evaluating and implementing in-house e-discovery and information governance processes, programs and solutions.

Mr. Johnston has extensive experience providing law firms and corporate clients with strategic transformation recommendations and work plans in response to their legal and regulatory challenges. These recommendations focus on risk identification, mitigation and remediation. He also has experience driving performance, building business strategies and providing recommendations to generate greater efficiency, manage operational risks and reduce the overall risk profile of an enterprise.

Providing consulting to corporate clients, Mr. Johnston focuses on designing, implementing and enabling change management for information governance, data privacy, data security and e-discovery programs. He has expertise advising companies on the processes and technology to effectively address legal and regulatory matters and to improve information quality and lifecycle management to support operational excellence.

Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Johnston worked with Arnold & Porter as a legal assistant, supporting discovery and trial preparation efforts related to mass tort litigation.

• Worked with a Fortune 500 corporation to assess its ongoing response to a Securities and Exchange Commission Consent Decree relative to its business practices globally to remediate identified areas of risk
• Led various high-intensity efforts in response to Hart-Scott-Rodino second requests, resulting in timely compliance
• Led multiple analytical review efforts focused on identifying key fact material quickly and efficiently for use in internal investigation interviews, depositions and during trial
