FTI Consulting Adds Veteran Cybersecurity and National Security Expert To Bolster Southeast U.S. Capabilities
Washington, D.C., July 8, 2025 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Jeffrey B. Veltri as a Senior Managing Director within the firm’s Cybersecurity practice, strengthening the firm’s cybersecurity and national security capabilities in the Southeastern United States.
Mr. Veltri, who is based in Miami, joins with 22 years of experience in national security, law enforcement and enterprise risk management. In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Veltri will help clients with cybersecurity investigations and national security concerns.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Veltri served as the FBI’s Chief Security Officer and the top executive of the FBI’s Miami Field Office. He was also the Domestic Director of National Intelligence Representative, responsible for coordinating United States Intelligence Community (“USIC”) efforts to serve U.S. intelligence needs in the Southeast Coastal Region.
“Jeffrey has extensive experience conducting and leading high-profile cybersecurity, counterintelligence, insider threat and national security investigations,” said Anthony J. While serving as Chief Security Officer and Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI’s Security Division, Mr. Veltri helped lead one of the FBI’s largest headquarter divisions and was a subject-matter expert for personal and physical security for the FBI. Global organizations are increasingly focused on these issues due to the sensitive information that executives and other high-risk individuals handle and possess.
